Achieve your goals in 2012 with baby steps and Dr. Peterson in Topeka Kansas

As the new year approaches, most of us will spend at least a little time thinking about "resolutions" or "goals" for 2012. Most of us, (including me) think BIG. I'm going to lose 50lbs, I am going run a marathon, I am going to take a trip to China.

Let me suggest that we all try to start with baby steps. I am going to lose 3 lbs this month. I am going to walk 3 days a week for 20 minutes, I am going to put $50 a month into a vacation account. Hopefully, by next year, you will be 36lbs lighter, in better shape and ready to buy a plane ticket to Florida!

The point of my blog? We all want to look our best and it is the small baby steps that put us on the path. Schedule a consultation with Dr. Jack Peterson in Topeka this new year to start on your path. The first step is always the hardest!

wrinkle relaxation with Botox and now Xeomin- Dr. Jack Peterson and introductory pricing

According to the American Society of Plastic Surgeons, injections of wrinkle relaxers like Botox ™ is the most popular non-invasive cosmetic procedure. In the 40-54 age group it represents about 57% of procedures. It is also becoming much more popular in the 30-40 age group as a preventative to aging.

Starting in November, Dr. Jack Peterson in Topeka Kansas will be one of a few select offices offering a new product equivalent to Botox called Xeomin®. It received FDA approval on July 20, 2011 for use in wrinkle relaxation. It is a direct comparison to Botox ™ . This is a “soft” marketing launch and this product will not be available to the general public for cosmetic use until spring.

We have introductory pricing that will make it $375 for a wrinkle relaxation treatment or $200 for a single location treatment. In addition, the first 20 patients to receive Xeomin® will receive a $50 VISA gift card to be used at our office.

We will continue to offer Botox ™and participate in their Brilliant Distinctions points program. Xeomin® is simply an additional choice. Both products are available in our office for immediate injection. Call our office at (785) 234-9000 for questions or to schedule your wrinkle relaxation treatment.

Can a psychiatrist offer Botox?

The answer is yes. A psychiatrist can offer Botox, an oral surgeon can do breast reductions, an ear nose and throat doctor can do breast augmentations and an ER doctor can do liposuction. Any medical doctor in the United States can call themselves a "cosmetic surgeon" and offer cosmetic procedures services, regardless of training or experience.
