study reports liposuction and tummy tuck improve quality of life

Liposuction and Tummy tuck improve Quality of life, according to a study reported in Plastic and Reconstructive surgery, the official journal of the American Society of Plastic Surgeons (ASPS). In a study of 360 patients, 86% reported an improved sense of self-esteem and 70% reported an improved quality of life. The average age was 42 years and was 85% female, 15% male.

98% of patints undergoing liposuction plus abdominoplasty said they would undergo the procedure again and 99% said that they would recommend it to others. Our abdominoplasty procedure with Dr. Jack Peterson includes liposuction of the abdomen as a part of the cosmetic package.
