Driving your car can make you look older if you are not careful, says Dr. Jack Peterson.
Many Americans notice extra sun damage on their left side face and arms. In Britain it is the right side. Why? It is the "drivers side" effect. Sun damage is caused when patients have long term exposure to UVA rays from the sun which can penetrate glass. UVA rays cause wrinkles and sun damage, UVB rays cause sunburns.
Whenever you are outdoors, even when covered from the sun directly or on a cloudy day, you should be aware that you are not safe from the reflected rays of the sun and should wear sunscreen. If you want toa age as best you can, sun protection is a daily regimen, no matter what you are doing. Put sunblock on before you leave your house.
