Plastic Surgery has gone to the dogs

A very sweet story about a dog born with a cleft lip and palate. A plastic surgeon  teamed with a veterinarian to repair Henry's lip and palate.

About 1 in every 700 children are born with cleft lip and/or cleft palate. Dr. Peterson is Fellowship trained in reconstructive cleft lip and palate surgery and is the director of the Topeka Cleft lip and Palate Team. You may also view some of the wonderful children in our clinic by going to the photo gallery.

  1. Hello friends,

Plastic surgery is an optional procedure to reshape or change the appearance of one's body or face. Reconstructive plastic surgery is used to correct defects on the face or body. Plastic surgery is a special type of surgery that can involve both a person's appearance and ability to function. Thank you.
